Keep away from the sun at a temperature below 25°C in the original packaging, out of reach of small children. The product naturally turns clumpy. Store in a dry place exposure to moisture will make the supplement clump faster. Clumping does not affect the properties of the substance.

As a result of physiological processes, as well as external factors (e.g. stimulants, certain drugs, UV radiation, pollution), oxygen-free radicals are formed in the body.

They have destructive effects leading to damage and malfunction of cellular structures.
To counteract the negative effects of free radicals, the body has developed mechanisms to protect against their excessive formation and to convert already formed ones into inactive derivatives. These mechanisms make use of chemical compounds produced in the body and those supplied, for example with food. These are called antioxidant mechanisms.

An increased level of free radicals in the absence of efficient antioxidant mechanisms results in oxidative stress (oxygen shock), contributing to the development of many diseases and disorders.

Mechanisms leading to cell damage include their effects on lipids, proteins and DNA. The ultimate effects of oxygen free radicals in the body’s cells are mutations, metabolic
dysfunction, and ageing. These, in turn, are responsible for the development of inflammatory processes, cancers and the dysfunction of numerous organs.

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) is a cellular enzyme naturally present in the body, primarily in liver cells. It is a key enzyme of the body’s antioxidant barrier.

Other enzymes with similar effects include catalase, peroxidase and glutathione reductase. Non- enzymatic antioxidants and free radical scavengers, e.g. uric acid, tocopherols (vitamin E), L- ascorbic acid (vitamin C), glutathione, bilirubin, cysteine and others also play a protective function
against free radicals damage.
